Cindy Gordon is the CEO and Founder of Helix Commerce International Inc., a global strategic consulting firm specializing in innovation and growth "new business models."  She has deep sales and marketing transformational change experience from leading major growth or transformation programs in companies like: Bell Canada, British Telecom, CIBC, Hewlett Packard, Newbridge, Nortel Networks, Royal Bank of Canada, and Xerox.  Prior to founding Helix, Dr. Gordon was a senior partner of a tier one venture capital firm investing in eCommerce and telecommunication enterprise software solutions.  Prior work experience includes senior executive or practice partner roles with leading firms,including: Accenture, Citicorp, Nortel Networks and Xerox.

She is a frequent industry speaker in areas relating to Innovation and Growth, eCommerce, Knowledge Innovation and Change Transformation practices, with five books published in the last seven years.  Her last book published on Enterprise Portals, held the #1 Portal Book category in Amazon for over 12 months, and is recommended by Harvard as a must read for senior executives. Her most recent book, "Winning at Collaboration Commerce: The Next Competitive Advantage", was released in January, 2006.  Cindy is an active Board of Director of both for profit and not for profit boards.  The University of Western Ontario has recognized her as one of the top 300 women in Canada in Innovation Leadership and Board Governance.  She is a current or past Board Director/Advisor to: Bubble Labs, Cquay, GotMarketing, Medworxx, Novator Systems, Pinpoint Selling, Snipe Networks, True Context, QuickPlay Media and View 22. Cindy is the Vice Chair for the Canadian Advanced Women in Technology Association (WIT) which supports women in technology careers, and provides networking and mentoring programs for women of all ages. Academically, Cindy has a doctorate specializing in business innovation, and collaboration commerce/knowledge management from the University of Toronto.
